Rostock Mini G2s Leftover Parts

I just finished my assembly of the G2s and I had a few leftover parts I was not sure of. Part #2 (the spool sets) and parts #39 & #40 (the heat sink and stickers) were not used anywhere in the assembly instructions that I could see. Are these needed?

Also, my LCD displays mostly gibberish when I turn it on. I think this is due to a setting in the firmware. Any way I can get a copy of the latest firmware?

hi,heat sink is glued to DRIVER BOARD with sticker.the spool sets is for placing fiament when printing.
regarding to the gibberish displayed in lcd,please press reset button on lcd panel and restart your printer .if it could not help,you can try to reburn firmware.

Do you have any pictures/instructions as to how and where these are placed?
