Hi William
I'm using Repetier-Host? But I am having major issues with supports with slicer3d. Problems to the point where by the time you get the supports off you've destroyed print. All my research has found that there's major issues with supports with slicer3d and Repetier. So want to use simplify3d.
Regards
Jeremy

Hi William
Sorry for the late reply didnt get the email that you replied to me. The problem i am having is when i use Repetier-Host the support material is extremely hard to remove to the point where you almost or in one case i had broken the print. Currently i am using Craftware's software and i dont have any major issues with the supports and find them very ease to remove the support material. But i would like to try and use Simplify 3D but i want to get all the correct settings, etc before i attempt to buy and install the software. As from everything i have seen Simplify 3D has the best slicer, etc out there.
regards
Jeremy

Hi,Jeremy
Have you alrady seen this before?
https://www.simplify3d.com/support/tuto ... tructures/
I should say,you only can get some reference from the user manual and learn what each setting means, cuz it doesn't fit every object you print if i give you a default config. How do you think ?

William

Hey William
i already deal with Support modification with Craftware. They give you the ability to remove/add supports all you want. so far its been going well. Had a few issues but i am still changing it and supports a almost as good as simplify 3D.
it would help alot as reading manuals and see the actual settings are alot different and easier to see and understand.
Thanks
regards
Jeremy
