Hello I am from Russia. I am writing through a Google translator.
After updating the firmware my printer is Geeetech A20M
temperature sensors (thermistors) stopped working.
Error:
Err: MAXTEMP PRINTER HALTED
Sensors show temperature
Hotend: 353
Bed: 64
I tried: to flash the firmware through the Geyetech proprietary utility and the hex file. It could not, the temperature error remained.
I tried: to measure the termitors resistance of 119 kOhm
I tried: Disconnected thermistors completely from the board
PS I took the firmware from here:
https://github.com/Geeetech3D/Prusa_I3_3Dprinter

When you turn on the printer immediately displays this temperature, hotend 353, bed 64. If you disconnect the thermistors from the board, the temperature does not change, it remains 353, 64. + - a couple of degrees. Motherboard geeetech gt2560 v4.0

Do you mean to unplug the thermistor of the hot bed and still show the hot bed at 64℃? If so, the motherboard is broken.

I can’t believe that the board broke due to firmware. And what does it mean? nothing can be done? just buy a new board?

Why upload firmware that breaks boards. I updated the ide through arduino, and did everything according to the instructions. After a reboot, the printer began to show incorrect temperatures. I just wanted to set up a bltouch

If you just update the firmware, the motherboard will not be damaged, it may be caused by other reasons.
and you can contact the salesperson on the purchase platform to replace it.

You can communicate directly with the salesperson and tell him your situation.
