Firmware for Pro W

Post by Wideoman » Mon Jan 15, 2018 3:55 pm

good day

I have a Pro W with the current firmware 1.03 and would like to equip it with a capacitive sensor. Unfortunately, I need a firmware> 1.04, I would have to modify this myself, because unfortunately I find no newer firmware with Googel. Therefore, the question of whether someone has already done this and if so, could this person provide it?

This would I have to adjust for the Pro W yet? Am a complete newcomer and therefore I know myself in the config files not good.

I have a Pro W with the Geeetech 3D-Touch installed, as opposed to a capacitive sensor. What changes would I need to make to this firmware please.

You should refer to 3dtouch user manual at first
Then you should change the configuration.h and pins.h file
(Don't forget to change the pin value of Servo0 to 11)

If the board is GT2560A+, an example configuration is provided in the official Marlin repo, branch 'bugfix-1.1.x'. Yo do not need to modify pins.h anymore, just set the board to 'BOARD_GT2560_REV_A_PLUS'. See viewtopic.php?p=82486#p82439

Note that those configurations expect the sensor to be connected to Z_MAX, as opposed to the recommended setup by Geeetech. Please, read both the readme and viewtopic.php?f=27&t=18263&start=280#p82546.
