Burning bootloader for Sanguinololu

After having tried and failed to flash the firmware for my Sanguinololu board, I'm running out of options and have decided it might help to re-burn the bootloader. I've tried the normal method in Arduino IDE 1.8.3 using an Arduino UNO as an ISP, but now when I try to flash the firmware I get "programmer not responding" errors. I'm guessing I need to burn the bootloader in some other way, so could someone tell me the proper way to get a new bootloader onto the Sanguinololu board so I can flash the firmware again?

You should uploading your firmware by Arduino IDE 1.0.1, refer to this link:

I've tried following those instructions, but I still got sync errors. Now I need to know how to properly burn a bootloader onto the Sanguinololu so I can try again.

This is happening because of the error in the firmware of the software. You cannot resolve this problem by yourself so
