Flip uploading

Post by Rob Green » Tue Sep 27, 2016 10:04 am

Hello,

I have purchased the Geeetech Printrboard rev D. I needs some help in a couple areas. First, I have followed the instructions posted at the following link. I still have difficulty getting Flip to work. I have followed the steps outlined at the following Geeetech link.

http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/Printrboard

I am working with Windows 10, and Flip ver 3.4.7. Once I reach the step 3, asking the user to find the “USB32” in Atmel\AVR Jungo driver. Can someone at Geeetecch post that driver here so I can access it and install it to use in Flip?

thanks!
Rob

Hello, thanks for posting this "driver install" program. I have downloaded the program and run it. I get the message "no installation is necessary". I then followed the instructions to install a non signed driver. The instructions are posted below.

How can I install drivers that are not digitally signed?
Click the Start menu and select Settings.
Click Update and Security.
Click on Recovery.
Click Restart now under Advanced Startup.
Click Troubleshoot.
Click Advanced options.
Click Startup Settings.
Click on Restart.

The next time I ran the driver install program, I get the same message pop up, "non installation is necessary".

I might think that this means Flip will now recognize the printrboard. Flilp still does not recognize the board? Is there any other help that can be offered?

Hi Rob,
There are the instructions to install the driver in this path:
Atmel\Flip 3.4.7\usb\UpdateDriver\w2k

You can update the driver according to the info there.
