Having trouble with firmware for Aluminum I3 Sanguinololu

We have bought and assembled a brand new Aluminum I3 Sanguinololu 3D printer. When we plugged it in, everything worked fine except the Z axis. It went the wrong direction while trying to go to home. So, per the instructions in the FAQ, we:

1. Downloaded the Plusa I3 A sanguinololu.zip file
2. Downloaded Arduino 1.0.1
3. Downloaded the Sanguinololu boards.txt and installed it in arduino/hardware
4. Changed the #define for Z-axis direction
5. Compiled and uploaded the firmware with Arduino

Now the 3D printer doesn't work at all. The only thing that happens is the LED on the heatbed blinks once per second and the Y-axis motor makes a small noise at the same time. We've tried everything we can think of and nothing works. Please help us!

Hi,
That's weird...What you mean by saying "3. Downloaded the Sanguinololu boards.txt and installed it in arduino/hardware"?
Could you please attach a video about the firmware's uploading?
