Prusa I3 Dual extruder Configuration+ z go up but not down
hello , i have an Acrylic Prusa I3 Dual extruder MK8.
i need the configuration to load on my controlboard because it was delivered with the wrong configuration for my printer.
i know that there is a forum with the basics configurations here : http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=17046
I3 pro&proB
I3 pro&proB(GT2560)
Marlin-PI3_Pro_B.zip
Marlin-PI3_pro_B
(299.21 KiB)
that is what i downloaded, and i loaded on with arduino like it is showed in this tutorial
BUT still , that is not the correct configuration, cause i have a DUAL extruder. I need help with this please.
An other problem that i have is that the Z axis goes up but does not go down, it just make a noise and vibrates but does not move.
I know that is a configuration problem and i would apreciate if someone can help me.
I have the printer for a while, more that 8 month AND I STILL CANT MAKE 1 SINGLE PRINT. so i am very frustrated with this. but i want to make it work! so please someone please help me!!!!

you need to download the one for your I3C, not I3 proB,

Re: Prusa I3 Dual extruder Configuration+ z go up but not do
hello, thanks for the fast answer. I have already instaled the correct marlin , but the z axis still does not move down, when i press autohome, X and Y work just fine , but Z start humming and vibrating and does not move down. when i click on for example +10 on the positive direction , the z motors rotates normaly and move up.
any ideas how can i fix this ? or what should i look at ? thanks...

it can go up not down.....maybe check the Z endstop wirings, see if the wire is bad contact or loose.

I controlled Z wiring end stops , the contact is good , it does not seem to be the problem.
i already visited other forums like
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 22&t=16917
but nonwof that worked for me

so what's the endstop status? when you manually trigger it by hand, did it change the status to triggered? You can use command M119 to check it.

20:28:50.252 : Reporting endstop status
20:28:50.252 : x_min: open
20:28:50.252 : y_min: open
20:28:50.252 : z_min: open
20:28:50.252 : ok
Thats when i conect the printer.

i tryed to attached a video of how the z axis works but i codnt upload it because the extension mp4. I uploaded here : https://www.sendspace.com/file/j2wgem
in the video , i only pressed autohome and this is what happens. note that at various times the engine loses strength or power. in a moment i press the z endstop.

Re: Prusa I3 Dual extruder Configuration+ z go up but not do
I think your Z axis is going in the wrong direction, when homing the Z motor on my printer rotates counter clockwise means down. But yours seems clockwise when homing, that's why it just goes up not down. so I think you need to change the direction in firmware and test it again, after homing then it will go up and down as you want.
Check this link to change the direction:

And the wierd loss powe thing, can't figure it out yet but I think you can check the driver voltage first:
