If you want to download the firmware for geetech printer, find the one for your printer here:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17046
for GT2560 please come to here to install the firmware:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=17181
1. Download arduino 1.0.1,
download link: http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php ... Resources Unzip the file. For sanguinololu, you need to copy the folder named "sanguino" to the folder "hardware" of Arduino IDE.
The "sanguino" folder: Download this file and unzip it and move it to the folder "hardware". 2. Connect your printer to computer, open "arduino.exe".(There is no content in arduino when you open it, if not, delete the content) 3. Here take firmware "I3_Sanguinololu" for example.
for GT2560, you can also come to here to install the firmware:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=17181
Open folder "I3_Sanguinololu"(files of Marlin firmware), double click the "XXX.ino" file to open the firmware in the arduino.
If you can't find the .ino file, then select all the files (59 in all) and drag them into arduino. 4. Choose correct board type.(Tools>Board>Sanguino W/ATmega1284p 16mhz) (If you use GT2560, choose "Arduino Mega2560 or MegaADK") 5. Choose correct serial port.(Tools>Serial Port>...(Usually only one choice for Windows)). 6. Click the icon "→" to upload the firmware to your mainboard. waiting for compling and uploading. 7. When displaying "Done uploading", you have successfully uploaded the firmware to your mainboard.

Re: How to upload the firmware to Sanguinololu/GT2560
I have given up on the mac...your instructions where useless, because the unit doesn't work...period. i went out in desperation thinking i'm some kind of idiot..and bought a new windows computer...down loaded all relevant files for windows did the firmware up load got confirmation it was up loaded.... and guess what....it still doesn't work...so whats your plan now? I would like to get this unit working thank you, what would be the best solution ...send the dam board or whole printer back to you...or some other strategy might be more appropriate...i am open to suggestions...
