It would be nice if you could tell us how you fixed it. Maybe there are others with similar problems.

Sorry for not giving details

I honestly dont know what i did differently i installed the firmware 6 times with no change to the settings on the last 3 times and on the 6th try everything seemed to work.

the first time i updated the firmware i did install the wrong 1 not really knowing what i was doing

the other five times i tried the correct prusa i3 pro b updated firmware, when i first downloaded this i used the lated version of adrieno and it definately doesnt work take not use the version 1.0.1 and the error goes away

Now as i said i installed the firmware 5 times and on the 6th time everything started working , weather this problem was due to installing the incorrect update in the first place im not sure but its all working good now and am doing some prints

hope this helps others out

some steps to follow

1 make sure you are using arduino 1.0.1 the other versions will just bring up an error

2 make sure you have the correct update firmware for you particualar printer

3 dont change any settings in the firmware update ( unless you know what your doing) not even the com port to use it it will be generated automatically

4 keep at it, it will work eventually

thanks

Chris
