Can't control fan speed through LCD?

Post by iamthebest22 » Sun Jan 07, 2018 1:35 pm

Hi all, I recently became an owner of the Geeetech GT2560 Rev A+ (with Bltouch port). I have almost no problem except I have no idea why the fan control isn't working.

I feel like it might be a setting problem as usual, but I can't seem to figure it out or find what's causing it.

Basically right now I have tried plugging the part cooling fan in on fan 1, PWM fan, and fan2, and when I try to control it in the LCD screen (up to 255) nothing happens, but both the hotend and part cooling fan turns on immediately at start up, so I know they work, it's just that I can't control them. I have linked to my whole Marlin on dropbox below. I am currently using Marlin 1.1.8, any help is greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

Did you fixed this issue? I have de very same problem but i just cant control my fan at all...

I'm using Marlin 1.1.8 on a MKS Gen_L V1.0 and both of my fan (hot end and part cooling ) are on when machine is plugged.

I've tried the M106 and the M107 command and have no results...

I'm starting to think that there is just no possible control for the part cooling fan on my board.

Any advice would be perfect!

You should connect the PWM fan interference and then try to send M106/M107 for a test.
