M201 - 2 extruders - one not moving

Hi, in the LCD menu, under prepare/move axis I can choose Extruder 0 and Extruder 1, and I choose 1.0 mm
extruder 0 moves fine when I select it, when I select Extruder 1, the motor doesn't move,
I do not have the hot end heated, should I be able to select each extruder and control the motor? or are they tied together?

Hi,
Yes,you can select each extruder and control it.And you can test if the extruder motor rotates by pressing the corresponding handle of each extruder.Have a look at a pic below:
