Yes. MIne is sagging too and also extruder 2 tip higher. I have not problems printing yet but i'm trying to have 100% printing with only 1 extruder to tackle 2nd ext. issue. I guess there should be a re design of that part. Better support? A 3rd or 4th support screw higher up. Adding a wedge up in the center between the two existing nut embeds. Just and Idea. When I print 100% i might modify the stl and print both modified parts (extruder carriage assembly)
Re: Dual extruder sagging: anyone else
My extruder just started to sag as well. In my case, it because distorted in one direction from the combination of weight and heat. I think that the plastic is the same on that they use to 3D print the parts (ABS?) and it gets soft when the temperature of the extruder goes up. I am asking tech support to replace the part, but I think that this will be happening if the design is not changed.

Glad I 'm not the only one. So Geeetech, what are you going to do for us?

I suggest printing an extruder holder with ABS filament. From the pictures, your extruder are printed of PLA with worse temperature compatibility when printing model with ABS filament. So it's bent.

My printer is reliable enough to print a new piece in ABS but I think the weight of 2 assemblies is still a bit to much for it. I'll try to mod it later.

I think it's ok, I have a printer with dual printer, and it has printed for a few months. The extruder holder is printed of ABS.Chupacabra wrote:My printer is reliable enough to print a new piece in ABS but I think the weight of 2 assemblies is still a bit to much for it. I'll try to mod it later.

That there sounds like a smartass comment. How can I recommend this printer to my customers if they are going to have the same problem? You don't buy a new car and then go and have to buy parts for it to make it work.
Your response should have been "sorry for the trouble guys. We have shipped you new parts, and they have been redesigned so it doesn't happen again"
That is how you provide good customer service.
