Post by lucapon » Tue Jul 11, 2017 6:07 pm

Hi, I have a problem with my i3 pro b. Every time i try to print, filament clogs in the extruder troath. The extruder gets warm and the extruder motor works properly. Every time i clean the troath and the nozzle but when i insert filament and make it extrude it drops a little bit of pla and then nothing. what can I do? What is the problem?

Unfortunately, this is exactly what happens to me, too. Printer is an Aluminium Prusa i3 A.

Under this situation,we use to clear Interior of nozzle first, and then squeeze the screw which presses the filament,I guess your printer problem come from lacking of screw pressure.

If you are talking about the screw on top of extruder to adjust the tension spring, my printer has not it.
