GT2560 Wire Cutter

Hello
I saw this article and would like to make a similar device however I want to use a kit that I ordered a while back that I never ended up using for my printer. I am very new to all this and have some questions. Article:
https://www.instructables.com/id/WIRE-CUTTING-MACHINE/
I purchased this kit:
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Geeetech-3D-Pri ... Sw4QVZ07pS
It comes with the following:
1 x GT2560 Board
5 x DRV8825 stepper motor driver
5 x Heat sink
2 x Sticker
1 x LCD2004 control board
2 x Control board cable
1 x USB cable
I have to purchase a servo motor which I was thinking of getting this one:
https://www.amazon.ca/Titri-MG995-Degre ... ay&sr=8-12
I also have a full extruder assembled that I will rip off an old printer which has the stepper motor and etc.
Is this even possible? I know the board has no place for a servo but I can solder if I have to. I have a programming background and can write the code once I know what I'm doing exactly. Don't worry about the PCB and making it pretty I can do that afterwards when its working
If you guys can shed some light on this and send me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!
Thanks a ton in advance!
