If section A - has an electrical transition to section B - it does not matter. The rest (section A+ B+) is analogously.
However, it is important to connect a set of wires.

Sorry I don't get it, are you saying, although my hot end and hotbed is powered directly from my ATX psu, still I need to connect 2 X 12V on the board? In the future, I will power my extra fan directly from my ATX psu.

Can you check whether pin A- is connected to pin B-
And whether pin A- is connected to pin A+

Beautiful photography but it does not bring anything.

To check the connections, you can use a multimeter with the continuity test function.
You can also check the connections in the wiring diagram if you have one.

Bravo Gingko.
I love such hot details.

The diagram shows that it is impossible to separate the power supply as a colleague would like to do.
I place a clipping.

Regardless of whether it connects the cable to the A+ or B+ pins, the whole controller is powered.
Therefore I would still use all the pins.
