Hello,

i have a Geeetech M201 (GTM32 Rev. B Board) and everything worked very well. Now i decided to get a MK8 Dual Extruder. I changed the thermo cable and the heating cable. Extruder heated up to 210°C and then my printer made a beep sound and shut down.
Now the printer does the following things:
1) When no PC is conntected the heatbead heats up and the LCD Panel isnt working, D13 lamp on (red) board is on. The lamp under the heatbead cable is on aswell.
2) When PC is connected LCD panel is working and i cant move the axis, the extruder or anthing. The extruder heating isnt working either. But i can heat up the bed to the temperature i want. The lamps D13+15+16 are red and the lamps 10+11 are blinking.

What i did so far: Installing the version 1.0.5 on my printer again.
Removing the green cable holders with the heat cables.

Thanks for help!

Hi,
Did you bought another heating cartridge(rated voltage:24V) for your New MK8?

I solved my problem. I bought a 12V Extruder for my 24V board. I burned my fuse, replaced it and bought 24V Hotend and now everything is fine for ONE extruder. For the Dual Extruder i have to get the 1.0.5 for dual head on the M201!
