Prusa I3 Pro B, did not operate

Post by neo4th » Thu May 12, 2016 12:00 am

Hello,

I have a new GEEEtech Prusa I3 pro B but it does not work.

The Powersupply has the correct Output =12,3 V, on the GT2560 Rev A Board i also have the 12V and on the Testpoint the +5V, the Extruderfan and the Boardfan are running,
on the A4988 Boards I also have the +5V. The Headbed and Extruder Led is green also the USB Led.

The LCD shows no letters, only black squares, all engines stand still and you can´t move them by hand.

In Repetier Host GEEEtech you can connect the Com Port but you can´t do anything, it shows “room temperature/0, room temperature/0”.

I startet to download a new Firmware with Arduino, but after 10 Minutes it fails with a lot of timeout and other errors: "avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout" or
"avrdude: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout comunicating with programmer".

Sorry for the bad english
Please help, thanks
Christoph

Hi,

Thanks for the fast answer.

I use Arduino 1.0.1 for uploading the Firmware, but again I only get:

ReceiveMessage (): timeout or
getsync(): timeout communicationg with the programmer or
command(): failed miserably to execute command 0x11

I have also tryed to unplug all kables exept USB and again nothing worked.

Thanks
Christoph

seems that your board is dead.
please contact the seller for a replacement.
