My Rostock G2S has not been working since I got it from Aliexpress 2 months ago. I have a whole of problems which I will post later. I suspected the GT2560 to be bad so I ordered new GT2560 from Aliexpress that came after 3 weeks. I like to know what firmware comes pre-loaded with a new board because after I installed and powered the printer on, the LCD shows Ultimaker 2 on the screen. I need advice if I can go ahead to re-burn the new control board with the RKMA_GT2560_double_heads firmware I downloaded from Geeetech.

Thanks. It should be the same RKMA_GT2560_G2S firmware I have downloaded before. I will proceed to upload later today when I can. I am using Arduino IDE 1.0.5. Please confirm that all I need is to double click on RKMA_GT2560_Dual_heads.ino or I need to drag all the files in? There are other ino files like Marlin there.

Hi ,you should just unzip the firmware, and drag all the documents into the IDE software like Arduino 1.0.1,change the parameter you want and click verify,if verify success, you can click upload ,and it will be done.

I uploaded the firmware you sent me. Am I supposed to change the board type from 7 to 34 in the configuration.h? After I did that the LCD keeps beeping and the temperature readings of the extruders and hotbed all show 300 over degrees C. I changed back to 7 and it is fine. I am going to go ahead to set up yet printer. Hope it will be fine.
