USB connection stops working

Hi,

maybe someone can help me. I build up the printer, did the configuration adjuststments and printed some 3D models with the repetier host software succsessfully. But since yesterday I can't connect the printer via the USB with repetier host, I didn't change anything on the PC or on the printer what could cause this issue. I also tried the connection via the arduino software, which was working before, without success. The error message I get means that wether repetier host nor arduino can comminicate with the Printer. The repetier server is not running which could block the serial port.

Any ideas where the problem came from and how to solve it?

Edit: I forgot to give you some important infos. It's a Prusa I3X Pro with a GT2560 board which I bought on 27th Dezember 2016.

So i guess USB connection worked before?
Is you LCD working properly now?
I guess you get timeout error in Arduino?
You can uninstall the original driver for the board and install the following one,then try it on different computers to take a look if you have:

thanks for your quick answer.

Yes the USB connection was working before.
The LCD is working properly, it happend 2 times, since the connection problem exists, that it has problems to display the normal content (some unreadable signs and black bars was shown) when I start a print job from SD card.
You're right I get timeout errors in Arduino.
I'll try your mentioned driver and process to solve the problem and gice you feedback as soon as possible.

I've deinstalled the drivers and took yours and I tired the same with an other USB plugs and with an other computer without success.

Today I'll check your mentioned post, and try to check if it solves the problem.

Could you attach a picture of your FTDI chip on the board(next to the USB port)?

I also have the same problem. Buy the prusa Pro B printer a few months ago.
I have been printing normally from it both from SD and from the PC connected by USB. A few days after printing a piece by USB the USB stopped sending data. No longer connected via USB. COM port does not appear in Device Manager. The LCD is lit but nothing is displayed. I can still print using SD but I can not connect to the computer.
How can I solve it?
I have only used the printer for 3 months.

Sorry i can'n understand the words " The LCD is lit but nothing is displayed. I can still print using SD",i think you can't print using SD if your display is not working?
Did you try it on other computers or other USB cords?
