Hello,
So it appears my heated bed "stopped working". When I send power to it through control software or LCD/menu the light on the board doesn't light up and nothing happens. However, when I plug the power cable/connector into the port for my unused second extruder, everything works fine. So how do I go about disabling the second extruder in firmware and using that port for heated bed control?
I have a Geeetech I3 Pro C.

Re: Swapping second extruder and heatbed in firmware
I believe I found the answer here: http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=18020 I'll have to try it later to see if it works correctly.

Might not be a good idea. The specification for the GT2560 states 12 A for the heatbed and 5 A for the other ports (extruders).

Hmm, looks like you are correct. I suppose I could buy another board but this printer hasn't lasted six months without nearly everything needing replaced on it. I've come close to spending more on spare parts than the actual printer itself.
