The issue comes down to the MOSFETS failing and causing excess current being drawn through a power socket that isn't made to handle it. My suggestion to all who own a GT2560 is to immediately replace the the stock MOSFETs with some IRLB8743PBF and to remove the power socket and direct solder 16awg-14awg wire (not the stock as it's under rated for the current) to the pads like pictured below.

Negative were solder on the tops pads on the back, and the positive soldered to the lower pads in the front. That is 14awg silicon jacketed wire I used to replace the stock 20awg-18awg that was under rated.

As you can tell I managed to repair my board by replacing the MOSFETs, fuses, and power wire from controller to PSU. the wire from the PSU no longer gets hot because it's more then capable of handling the currents, and the new MOSFETs don't over heat since they have a lower switching voltage and higher current capacity at said lower voltage then the stock.
