Heat bed showing 80/0 even when thermistor disconnected
Heat bed showing 80/0 even when thermistor disconnected
It appears the tape came loose under my heat bed and the thermistor wires shorted....I started getting a max temp error....I uncrossed them and secured them but my LCD panel shows 80/0 all the time and the "H" is on. If i unplug the thermistor from the GT2560 board it still shows 80/0 with the "H".....Is the gt2560 board bad now? I reinstalled the firmware....no change...I unplugged everything except the LCD...no change,

It's weird...
What model is your printer?
Could you attach some pics or videos about the issue(the status of LCD and the board)?

Well I changed out the GT2560 board...working again...not sure what was causing it but that fixed it.

You mean you replace it with another new board?

Yes I did.....could not figure out why it thought it was 80 all the time.....new gt2560 took care of it...I tried flashing the firmware...did not help
