Hi, I have a Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro X Acrylic. I'm just testing the printer for the first time.
The problem that I have is that when I home the Y Axis, it moves it a little bit like if the command had been 10mm, and not homing.
(When I compare the commands that I send with Repetier, they're different).
It happends the same when I select the "Auto Home" option from the LCD pannel (so, is not the software that I use).
I uploaded again the firmware, just in case, but, it works the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Y Axis homing not working

Did your Y axis have a right movement like (towards to left or right) when you test it?antipirina wrote:Hi, I have a Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro X Acrylic. I'm just testing the printer for the first time.

Maybe a test video could have a better showing.

Yes, actually, it prints fine. But I need to home the Y haxy by pushing with my hands the bed towards the back til it touches the endstop.

Yes, it prints fine. The only problem I got is that I need to home the Y axis manually, pushing it towards the endstop.

Did you have a bad Y endstop or the Y endstop has a wrong connection to the board?antipirina wrote:Yes, it prints fine. The only problem I got is that I need to home the Y axis manually, pushing it towards the endstop.

Oh! I was so focused on the board that I didn't notice that the endstop was not well connected. Now it's solved!
