Prusa i3 control board problem

Post by Bighuete » Sat Mar 05, 2016 1:44 pm

Hi there
I just set up a Prusa i3 Pro X. After mounting to go it on the LCD does not turn on. I connected the USB and LCD lights heated bed. The engines do not move and does not heat the extruder. When unplugging usb it turns off.

I checked the output of the power supply and gives 12-13V. But voltages in checkpoints and engines gives 0V.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

Thank you

Mark

The USB LED also works when I connect the computer.

The LED below the connection lights when heated bed. When heated gives 1.5 V and when it does not 12.31V.

Extruder heated LED don´t work, and the extruder only raise 1-2ºC
The fuse give 12.31V
Extruder gives resistance 3.9Ω
The resistance of the bed gives 1.2Ω

The PSU wire.

the LED for the hotend is not on, then I think the fuse might be dead, you can remove the hotend fuse and plug the 15A fuse into the socket, see if the LED will come on or not, if it comes on with the heatbed fuse, then the hotend fuse is dead, need to replace it.
