Hello,
I bought a Azteeg X1 from you and am unable to get it to connect to any PC.
Questions is it supposed to ship with any printer firmware on it? Marlin, Repetier, Sprinter, Teacup on it? It seems to have nothing on it, and attempts to load any of the above mentioned firmware gets a failed to connect message in the Arduino IDE, I've tried several versions of the Arduino IDE on a couple of PCs, with a couple of USB cables, nothing seems to work. The two red leds are on, and the two green leds blink, but nothing else happens. I have setup Arduinos before and aside from needing to make sure the Arduino IDE has the board definitions for the Azteeg, (ATMega 644p) I'm not sure what else I should try or need to do.
I have not added any of the DRV8825 stepper drivers to the board yet as I wanted to verify that it is functional as a controller first. It appears to me that the board is dead, but I'd be happy to try and get it talking.
Thanks
Pete

1.i want to kown what is your PC‘s OS
2.if it’s window OS,then you can download my arduino IDE:http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/images/0/0 ... -1.0.1.zip
if it's MAC,you should download the file ,then unzip it,put it in your ide’s hardware。

Mac and Linux, have the 1.0 and 1.05 IDEs no difference. The board never responds. I'm able to upload to other Arduinos with these setups, as I've stated
Re: Azteeg X1 - PC never connects
oh,i see.our bootloarder is for windows.so it can't be finded by MAC OR Linux.there are two ways to solve this problem。
1.you can use the usbtinyisp to burn the mac or linux bootloader
2.you can use the PC of windows OS to connect the board

Re: Azteeg X1 - PC never connects
Weird that the boot loader is a Windows bigot, but it was easier to dig up Windows than buy a programmer. I was able to talk to the board, and load sketches. I'll have to see tomorrow if I can get the motors going.
Thanks
