GTM32 Mini S WiFi Pinouts.
GTM32 Mini S WiFi Pinouts.
Does anyone know what the pinouts are for the wifi module connection on the GTM32 Mini S? I have looked on the schematics and it is not mentioned. I would like to attach a ESP82266 module to it.

Hello.
I think this topic has been raised before, but I don't remember the details.
If you don't find anything on the forum, it remains to read the MCU pinout, and test the connections with a multimeter.
But remember:
In order for new equipment to work with the printer, the firmware must support it. Otherwise, you will have a new decoration on the controller board.

Re: GTM32 Mini S WiFi Pinouts.
Thanks William. I had a look at this schematic before. It is for the Pro which has two rows of pins on the WiFi outlet. The Mini S has a single row. If it followed the same numbering convention it would be good.William wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 9:25 amHi, you can refer to this :https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?download_id=43

Thanks kaktus. I did search for it and could not find a post either in hardware or the A30 forums._kaktus_ wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 1:19 pmHello.

As the firmware is now opensource it should be relatively simple to use the port. I should imagine all trace of anything related to this port has been erased since the release of Geetetech's WiFi module. lol
Re: GTM32 Mini S WiFi Pinouts.
Eeeeee doooooon't.
One has nothing to do with the other.
Printer controllers are designed to be very versatile.
It happens that their functions are far ahead of the firmware.
It would take a long time to tell a story.
If I remember correctly, the Mini S controller has a small E180 printer.
Initially it was equipped with a wireless communication module.
However, due to some problems, the manufacturer decided to withdraw this equipment.
The low processing capacity in the company makes some things very time-consuming.
I understand that, but many users are upset about it. This is understandable to me.
I started implanting ESP in my printer once.
GTM32 Pro vB.
Later I didn't have time to continue this project, and in addition I broke the PCB of the controller.
Now I have a new one. When I finish the modification I'm doing now, I'll go back to wireless communication in my controller.
This is a hardware solution. It also contains a trick, so it does not require any interference in the firmware.

Thanks _kaktus_! I look forward to seeing you continuing your WiFi project. I hope your current mod goes well.

Hi Macflame.
Thank you for the good word.
There is never too much of that.
In the course of the first tests, the electronics were as follows:
