Hey,
first of all sorry to bring up this topic again, since it was asked a million times, but I am a bit lost here.
After assembling my Prusa I3 X, I get the following problem: All motors are moving only in home direction.
End stepper are configured properly (checked manually with M119, defined and wired as MI'N).
Which means I can home all axis, but afterwards they dont move in the opposite direction.
Flashed Firmware (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17046) and read through almost every related post.
FAQ is not really helpful here (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=17037)
- What I was wondering I dont see an "endstop hit" message in the LCD (however the Repetier-Host tells me its triggered)
- Manual control is also not possible in opposite direction
Any advice?
BR
Peter
Edit: I recognizedtwo additional facts:
1. If I change the motor direction (INVERT_X_DIR) where I expect the motor to go in the opposite direction, it is not moving at all
2. I measured the voltage at the stepper driver and get only 0.3V at each driver (power supply at the PSU is with 12V OK) and it is not possible to increase the voltage by turning the potentiometer

Re: Stepper motor moving in one direction
And did you check the correct order of wires in the motor connector?
William, my friend, show a colleague the photo. Let him check if everything is properly folded.

Re: Stepper motor moving in one direction
Thank you for the reply,
of course I (double) checked the wiring and all was fine. However, I realized that the stepper driver of my extruder was delivering the 0.8V (didn't check it in the first place, because i was focusing on the axis). After I replaced this one with one of the axis, the axis was working fine. So I ordered a couple of new stepper drivers and now everything is working.
Bottom Line: 3 of 4 stepper driver of my brand new Prusa were not really broke, but didn't get the requested voltage and as a result the stepper motors were only turning in one direction.
Again thank you for your help
