Hello,
I bought a Geeetech prusa I3 through eBay and I just tried to start it yesterday.
The heating bed is working, the nozzle too (tested with repetier)
But I'm pretty sure I ve a setting probleme with each motor.
The X and Y are working but in a jerky way, sometimes humming.
The Z axis is not mooving at all, Only humming.
It's like all motor are very weak.
I set all motor in full step to have the maximum power
Every axis can moove easily (motors disconnected)
I've got a sanguinololu with the GT2560.
What are the good setting to fill in the board through the panelololu like accélérations, step/mm etc...
I checked the voltage btw the grd and the small screw on each drivers. I gess the A4988. I adjusted it on 1V but nothing changed.
If it's a firmware issue, could you please send me a good one, with a step by step topic to burn it. I'm not really confortable with it.
Thanks a lot.
Aurélien

Re: First start Motor Issue With Sanguinololu
Thank you for your answer,
After having X2 checked, voltages, and wiring, i found out my problem. I didn't plug any jumper under motor drivers. And because the firmware of the board is pre-set for 1/16 step it had eratic mouvements. Now it smoothly mooves and in the right way. Had to put some lubricant on Z screws to help motions.
No need to set a new firmware (for the moment.....)
Thanks
