Hello

I bought the DUE from following link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... =all&tid=0

I have just test it and found that it is not working

When I connect it via USB port there is no LED light and when I try to program it I am getting message "No device found".
When I connect if via Native Port device is not recognized.

It looks that main processor is not working and the board is not usable.

I have another Arduino Due board which works properly with the same configaration, so it is not problem of my configuration. Please suggest some solution.

Please suggest some solution.

Thank you Fedor"

Hello

I have made 3 posts, but they are each for different DUE board with different problem.

So I need help with each one.

I will write information you will ask.

This one works this way.

1. When I connect USB to "Programming port", board is recognized by PX, drivers are found.
When I set correct COM port and try to program it I am getting message "No device found"
So it is not possible to program it.

2.When I connect USB to "Native port", board is not recognized
So it is not possible to program it too.

Because Native port is connected directly to main ARM processor I think, that it is not working.

Thank you for your help

I'm sorry to hear that, Did you have a try to replace the USB cable connection?
You check the appearance, Is it complete?

Hello

I have checked more cables, which worked OK with another board. But still the same - "No device found"

Appearance looks OK, nothing missing or whatever.

I think it is some inner problem in some chip or something like that.

Thank you

Fedor

Hi fkallay.ebay
I think you are right,Is likely to be USB interface or mega16U2 damage, but we shipped products are also pass strict inspection,
as you know, maybe outside factors such as collision and electrostatic is aslo likely to lead to the board doesn't work.
But sometimes it can be solved by re-boot the firmware, So I suggest you try to re-boot the 16U2 IC(which means reset it).
Please kindly try this, and let me know the result

Hello

I think that mega16U2 is OK, because as I wrote before when the board is connect to "Programming port" it is recognized by PC and COM port is assigned.

I think that, problem is in main ARM processor, because when connected to "Native port" which is directly connected to ARM, device is not recognized.

One way or another, DUE board is not working.

What do you suggest ?

Thank you

Fedor

Hi fkallay.ebay
When you connect the board, the computer will prompt you to install the driver,
After complete installation, can in the device manager to check the status, then you can Programming it.
Unable to connect to the Native port? I don't know what is the specific phenomenon.
Do you have some picture can let me more understand this phenomenon.
Thanks!

I am sorry, if it is not clear.

It is not possible to program the board noways.

There is different behavior when connected to different USB port.
Take a look at the picture - Native USB port; Programming port

http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardDue

You can take a look at schematic too.

One way or another it is not possible to use board.

Thank you

Fedor

Dear friend,
Could you please supply 9V DC to check whether there is LED light or not? If not, please supply 5V DC on the slot of DUE to check whether there is LED light or not. I had enclosed the picture. Waiting your reply. Best regards.
