Iduino DUE board problem - Outputs and power not working

Hello

I bought the DUE from following link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... =all&tid=0

I have just test it and found that it is not working

When I connect it via USB port - On LED and Led13 are shining. I can send program to board. But it looks that outputs are not working because there is not possible to get Led13 Off. Looks like problem of main processor outputs.

When I connect it with external power it doesn't work completely. And on 5V pin is much higher voltage. Looks that also power part is not working.

I have another DUE board which works properly with the same configuration, so it is not problem of my configuration.


Unfortunately It looks that DUE board I have bought is not usable


Please suggest some solution.

I have made 3 posts, but they are each for different DUE board with different problem.

So I need help with each one.

I will write information you will ask to each.

This one works this way.

a) When connected via USB only

1. When I connect USB to "Programming port", board is recognized by PC, drivers are found.
Board can be programmed

2.When I connect USB to "Native port", board is recognized, drivers found
So it is possible to program it too.

In both cases when I upload test sketch which switch on/off pin13 outputs are still ON and LED13 is still on.

b) Connected via power connector

1. When I connect USB to "Programming port", board is not recognized by PC
Board could not be programmed

2.When I connect USB to "Native port", board is not recognized
So it is not possible to program it too

In both cases test sketch did not run.


I think there are two probles with this board

1. Power part is not working. On 5V pin is much higher voltage.
2. Outputs of main ARM processor are damaged

hi, is you use the code we provide?
and Card by working in the rated voltage, is not to need to use additional higher voltage,
it is likely to burn out the card.

I do not understand what do you mean with "code you provide".

I use code provided e.g. from
examples\01.Basics\Blink

And using card with correct voltage - external power 9V or USB 5V.
On pins 3.3V

Nothing with "higher voltage".

I now for sure, that if there is higher voltage than allowed it will burn board.

This is not my first board, and I have another DUE board working in the same condition correctly.

Some suggestion ?

You are right.

There is not possible to get Led13 Off.
I can change code by any means but there is no change in behavior of the board.

Yes, you re right - when I connected external power, board is not working.
