problem on iduino mega 2560 undetected

hello,
my iduino mega 2560 has never been detected by my pc and not by that of my friends. Yet this is not a problem of drivers because I have tested with another card mega 2560 and is recognized and functional.
So I can use the uploaded and a programe.
I think after having scanned the web on all forums as possible and I think that has atmega16u2'll defective.
What do you think and review material default or other solution?

bonjour, mon iduino mega 2560 n'a jamais été detecté par mon pc et non plus par celui de mon amis. pourtant ce n'est pas un probleme de drivers parceque j'ai testé avec une autre carte mega 2560 et elle est reconnu et fonctionnelle.
Donc je ne peux l'utilisé et televersé un programe.
je pense apres avoir scruté le web sur tous les forums possible et je pense a l'atmega16u2 qui serai defectueux.
Qu'en pensez vous et a votre avis defaut materiel ou autre solution?

There are several possible if mega2560 can't find the device,
1.Did not install the driver;
2.USB poor contact or USB failure;
3.The board failure,Including the USB and 16u2 Or other.
If you make sure step 1 and 2 is good,then you can contact customer service.

I'm writing to apologize for the delay in this case, I reviewed your problem description again after our team meeting, and based on your information, I think you are right, there might be a atmega16u2 problem, as you know this issue maybe caused by a lots of facts, like shippment, static etc....
But sometimes it can be solved by re-boot the firmware, So I suggest you try to re-boot the 16U2 IC(which means reset it).

I already tried to reboot the "16u2 IC" with a usbasp and the transferring is ok but no improvement observed.
still no detection by the pc

SO you offered to send me a "atmega 16u2" welded to myself then that is what a Mega2560 you proposed to send me? if another Mega2560 I agree but I know the 3d printer but I'm not equipped to weld a atmega16u2 safely. I do not see why I should pay half of something I received unusable.

a gift is something that you do not pay and therefore since you ask me bought a half price this is not a gift but a sale. and what is it half price?
I get a Mega2560 totally unusable and I have to pay more to me that the exchange? I had not chosen the first prize for being quiet but instead I get a defective part and we propose to discuss in by buying another (even half price I think it's unfair) I thought being in business with honest people selling quality but I can be wrong?

I am having the same issue with a iduino mega 2560 that I received earlier this week; reconnected many times with two different USB cables, updated drivers, and gone through all windows troubleshooting options. The atmel 16u2 was dead on arrival, although nothing looks out of order.
The last arduino copies that I bought from geeetech (about one year ago) were made with counterfeit usb to serial converter chips, and were bricked by a driver update from the original manufacturer in October. I had to replace them at a cost of ~4 USD each.
Please tell me there is a fix for the Mega, or this may be my last dealings with geeetech.
