Hi, does anyone here have the same problem with me, i have used my 3d touch sensor for a week but yesterday the probe just suddenly comes out all the wall and fall on the bed while doing auto bed levelling (G29) before printing. Is my unit broken? What can i fo to repair it?
Any suggestions please? Tnx.

Sorry to tell you that you need to change a new probe. There is a small magnet on the top of the probe inside the sensor ,so it cannot work any more. You can find the position of magnet in the pictures.

There is a grub screw at the top of the gadget. Carefully unscrew that and try to remove the magnet portion of the pin assembly. You can reinsert the pin to see if you can push everything out the top. You'll need something else to help push all of that through. Do it slowly! Once that's done, you will need to reattach the pin into the heat shrink tubing so that it is touching the magnet. Essentially, the pin assembly composed of a magnet stuck to the end of an aluminum pin and the whole end is wrapped with heat shrink tubing. You might want to drop a dab of glue to keep the pin in the hole. To reassemble, insert the pin into top, bare aluminum tip first and make sure it smoothly drops down. Replace the grub screw and tighten until the light just comes on.

Hi, Thanks Mate, was able to repair my 3D touch with your instructions. hmmm, this might be all the reason why I'm having a hard time using this probe since I'm experiencing different z-offset everytime I print. the magnet and the probe might be already loose from the time it was shipped to me. Uploading pictures so that others can see in the future how to solve this problem. Luckily I have not yet ordered a new one. haha..
