3DTouch causing print failures

This printer is brand new for me, and most prints have some serious layer shifts.

After watching the print, I think the layer shifts are actually being caused by the 3DTouch leveling sensor!

For some reason, during prints, at random times it will drop the pin of the bed leveling sensor and print the whole layer with the pin down and dragging on the print. I think sometimes it jams in the print and stops the X,Y axes from moving properly.

Is my 3DTouch defective? Why is it dropping the its pin during a print?

Hi,

I have the same problem since a few time.

It appeared suddenly after about 5 month perfect working.

The pin of the sensor goes sometimes up and down random while printing causing crashes.

I changed my 3D Sensor for a new one. It didn't solve the problem.

I guess its a problem in the EEPROM datas or Firmware.
