Repetier-Server connection
Re: Repetier-Server connection
Hi, Connect the printer and computer via a USB cable,
If the printer does not automatically generate a serial port,
You need to install the serial port manually,
You can refer to: https://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopi ... RlcFtWdCG4
Select the corresponding port in Repetier Host to connect.

Select the corresponding port in Repetier Host to connect.
-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Re: Repetier-Server connection
William, you didn't read the question. The OP doesn't want to use Repetier-HOST, they want to use Repetier-SERVER. These are very different things.
It appears the A10T (and probably the A20T) use the CH34x serial-USB chip. From what I have read trying to do this myself, this chip doesn't have a fully functional driver for the Raspberry Pi so while the Pi might detect the printer, it won't be able to communicate with it. I've tried this with Pi 3B, Pi 4, high-speed USB2 A-B cable, fixed speed, autodetect - nothing works.
After days searching the web, I've found plenty of "it doesn't work" and so far not one "this is how to do it".
