A20M fan plug and TMC2208?

Post by RoggerJones » Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:19 pm

Hello community

I just received my new A20M printer model with GT2560v4
I still don't have my bltouch, it was not available bt arriving soon

Today I'm dayoff and I would like to install my 2208 drivers on X Y Z axes
Do you know where to find a step by step tutorial to help me, i'm novice in 3d and electronics but i think can do it with my head and my multimeter

Also another qestion : I've unscrew the bottom of the printer to go on the psu and motherboard, and when i removed the bottom, i've unplug the fan of the motherboard, without seeing where it was plug on the motherboard... Can you say me where it was by default ?

By which model do you think I can change it ? Noctua 12v ou another one 24v for more silence ?

Thanks for all

Hi!

I've just watched on my motherboard picture - fan is on j33 port, nearest left from TF card slot.

Just a few weeks ago i installed tmc2208 to, you just need to set the same voltage on them, just like on the a4988.
But when you measure the voltage (gnd pin on the stepper driver and the adjustment knob on it) you should disconnect motors from the board!
In my a4988 the were 0.9v on all axis, 1.2 on extruder.
