A20m, auto level fails

Post by Jondar » Wed May 13, 2020 11:17 am

Hi;

I have a A20M, with BL-Touch. Already updated the firmware, etc. Using Cura, first print seemed to work fine. Recently updated to newest Cura, and now it no longer does auto leveling with print start. I have inserted a G29 code in printer settings (after the G28 code). I am slicing & saving to SD card. It will auto home/level in the center position, but then start the print without doing other leveling. I have rechecked Cura, and the printer settings still have the G29 code in place. It's as if the code is not in there... but it HAD worked on a prior version of Cura. I doubt it is the Cura, but I have no clue what to do next. I hate to resort to have to manually level the bed.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Have reloaded prior Cura version--and inserted G29 ; auto level in printer configuration settings right after the G28 code. Attempted print from SD card. It successfully auto homes, uses GL touch for center level check only, then starts to print without auto-leveling the rest of the print bed.

Alas, the easiest solution (using prior version) is a fail.

What is the next step?

Hi,you can use Repetier-Host. Add G28 G29 to start code, we just tested it is feasible.
