Heat Bed Failure

History: Had a short in my hot end. Thought that I had lost my Control Card (GT2560 V3.0), because everything went out. The power supply would come on, but nothing else would come up. Tested fuses, found one bad fuse and replaced it. Everything came back up working, but the heat bed. I ordered a new heat bed.

Problem: The same problem exists, with a new board; so, I don't think that I have a bad thermistor. Even if I set the temp for the heat bed , it will not come on. In the first photo, the heat bed temp is not set. In the second photo, the heat bed temp is set. The head bed will not heat up.
What should I try next? Any help is greatly appreciated
