Tired of clogged hot end...options?

I have had this thing for a little more than a year. I print, or try to print, a bunch of stuff and seems like every 6 months I have disassemble the hot end and clean it. I am using Hatchbox filaments which seems to be pretty good stuff, at least my other printers love it. The little diffuser plates in the hot end seem to get clogged and then the filament stops feeding, I have to raise the temp and finally it all has to be cleaned because the filament simply wont feed. Is there an option for a different prinhead that actually works? Can I retrofit the A20T prinhead and add an extruder/new motherboard? Should I give up and make this a one-color printer? The printhead design on the M models with 2 colors into a T with the diffuser plates is always going to be the achillies heel of this thing. I will admit that every once in a while I try PetG in the printer and that may be the root cause of the clogging, anyone using petg on this printer reliably?

Thanks!

:D Hi, If you print consumables of different materials,
Can cause nozzle clogging,
You need to clean the hot end in time.
