Hello,
There's something I don't understand in my dual prints (eg The Traffic Cone)
I'm using Cura 4.4.1

When extruder2 (Dark Grey color ) is working, there are some switchs with the extruder1 (White color) (I can see some Z hop during printing).
As a result, the color 2 is a bit mixed with the color 1. It should be a 100% color 2.

You can see the result here : Notice that the Prime tower is ok and not mixed.
Notice that when Extruder1 is printing, everything is ok. There are no switch with Ext2.
Notice that my Infill extruder is not overriden, so I suppose that extruder1 is infilled with Ext1 and Extruder2 with Ext2.
Notice that the top of the cone is ok - There are no mix at the end.

I suppose it's a parameter in Cura, but which one?

Hi,It looks like it was mixed with the previous color, you can add a draw back to remove the residual color.

I'm gonna try the draw back. You think that this draw back has impact during all the printing of extruder2, or just at the border between White and Grey?
What surprise me is that the Prime Tower is 100% Dark Grey, so I would say that the draw is pretty good.

The difference is that the Prime Tower is only one print large, whereas the Traffic Cone is larger.

Silly Question : Someone arrived to print multi-color, with the printer out-of-the-box?

Try it with my profile for A10M (define Filament/Extruder multiplier as 0.95, Print/Speed/Volumetric speed 10, Printer/Extruder/Retract 8mm).

1- In Cura, do you know where is this parameter ? : Filament/Extruder multiplier
2- you mean Print/Speed/Volumetric speed = 10mm/s ? (Huuu - It's slow, no?)

No, it is pretty fast.

10mm3/s is not 10mm/s, but 8-30x more of print speed.

I have found the solution : use Simplify3D rather than Cura or other Slicer
The print is perfect at the first time wih the default profile - Time is money.
Geeetech have a lot of job to improve the profiles they deliver.

Printed in 0.3 mm
