A20M Layer Shifting on Y axix (Plate direction) regular

Post by YvonGeee » Mon Oct 14, 2019 7:44 pm

Hello,

Already did quite a few successful prints, up to 15cm height with no problem.

I tried to print the Spider-transformer-Pumpkin and I have glitches (layer shifting):
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3129886
pumkkinspider.stl

See attachment, Glitch first happens at Z=0.8mm approx, then 15mm later, then again 15mm approx later...
Glitch is 1 to 2mm...

I also attached my gcode (7z file) , hard to find something here.

I sliced with Cura, previous is perfect. I loaded the gcode in repetier, preview is also correct.

Any idea?

Thanks a lot!

Yvon

Hi, regarding layer shifting, you can check:
1. Make appropriate adjustment of the tightness of the belt;
2. Whether the bearing and the pulley are issued, and the card is lubricated for lubrication;
3. Whether the printing speed is too fast, the reference range: 30-60mm/s;
4. Drive board voltage for proper adjustment: 0.8-1.2V
