hello all,

Do you use the Geetech's provided link to download the Marlin firmware?
I did, and checked a bit and saw that the # extruder was enabled for 1, and the singlenozzle is not active/defined.
did you had to enable and work on the firmware a lot?

if there is a stable version of the firmware that needs only certain settings that needs the end user to find out (eg. PID), I am greatly tahnksful for your guidance as to where this is located.

thanks you in advance.

Hi, If you want to modify the PID settings,
you can refer to this:https://reprap.org/wiki/PID_Tuning
I hope this can help you.

thanks William,
I know how to get the PID....
it is the FW reliability and to know if as a new user, it needs a tons of tinkering in the FW or not.
and weather there is an updated FW with the right setting to start from.... :D

never mind...

after spending 6 hours on the net and this forum, found the work from "Vert: admin", with youtube video and the // define read the document error... lol

now it is more in clear that the 2-1 extruder/singlenozzle can use virtual SW and physical Cyclon setting in the firmware to command the print.

Thank you Vert for your time for putting things to ease other's life!!!!
