Hi, You can
- Reconnect the screen cable to try it out;
- go to the official website to download the firmware and then upgrade
I hope this can help you.

thanks for the response i've done both with no luck. i was working on the system last night trying to ohm out the cable just in case it had a broken trace. not an easy task but all seemed to be connected. i did notice that the CPU on the board got very hot very quickly. even with all cables were disconnected (except for power) should the processor get that hot? it was almost too warm to touch. even the board underneath the chip got very warm. i realize that the board is acting like a heat sink but we are talking getting very warm within the 1st minute after power up. i've attached a short video of the problem in action. it is a zipped mp4 file.

Hi, It looks like the screen line and the screen are not in good contact. You can try to reconnect the screen.
If you buy the screen, you can contact your sales for a detailed consultation.
By the way, if the motherboard is overheated, is there a heat sink on your driver board?

Hello.
If µC heats up, this is a symptom of abnormality.
If you find that it is too hot, there is a high probability that it is damaged
Ask your reseller for a replacement.
If you want to buy an extra copy, ask your GT Sellers.
