Re: 3D Touch Sensor:Auto-levelling for Geeetech 3D printer
Today I got Thermal Runaway when printing...I suspect the hex screw changed during prints...So now I must apply some glue or similar to make it harder to turn - and I have to find the setting I used earlier
Now there is a difference between the nozzle and the sensor.

I've got thermal runaway when pointing my pwm controlled fan (not running all the time) wrong. It detects sudden temperature change and stops the heating because it could be the temperature sensor that have failed or gotten loose from the mount (read kapton tape).

The sensor is well positioned takes measurements in four points and when it starts to work, little by little the pin is sliding until it touches the part so you have to raise it with the screw until the light flashes
The sensor is defective, the servo does not retain the pin

Hi,@G.gomez
You can try the teflon tape mentioned in this post to fix it:

Re: 3D Touch Sensor:Auto-levelling for Geeetech 3D printer
Hello,
I bought one 3D Touch Sensor, but it seems that is not working very well.
It does not have repeatability, sometimes just a soft touch on the bed is enough to do a home, sometimes not, sometimes the pin does not push down.
Another strange thing is that when I send the auto test script (M280 P0 S120), the pin is just pull and push one time, and not continuos until a new command.
I have already tried to adjust the screw, but no success.
Could you please help me?
Thanks in advance.
Roberto

Hi,Roberto
Did you check this post before?
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 27&t=18371
You said " when I send the auto test script (M280 P0 S120), the pin is just pull and push one time",what did it do after pulling one time?Keep flashing or something else?
Normally,it should have been pushing and pulling all the time(send M280 P0 S120) until you send next commend.
I guess the needle inside the sensor was not adjust well.

Hi guys. I have just installed the BL Touch but find that there is no power to the servo pins. I've followed the instruction to the letter. Any ideas. Also is there an arduino confit file out there already setup that I can download and try.

Oops that should read config file.

Hi does anyone else have the pin twitch from side to side when they use the M280 P0 S10 ; pushes the pin down.
Then when i try to use the M280 P0 S120 ; Self test, it just does an error til i reset it.
Any ideas what might be causing this
