A20M and ABS

Post by capt1701a » Sat May 25, 2019 12:07 am

Hi everyone,

I 'm new to the world of 3D printing and finding it very frustrating due to the poor or lack of instructions. On the A20M has anyone tried printing using ABS, as I have to force it through by hand, also it is not sticking to the bed. I have tried the hot end from 230 to 250C and the heat bed at 100C. The printer worked OK on PLA, besides not sticking to the bed correctly, even with glue.

Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks

Hi,ABS's consumables temperature is around 210°-230°. Are your consumables placed in a dry place?

ABS is rather hard to print without ABS slurry and a enclosure not to mention all the fumes it gives off.
True, but in the advertisement it says that it can print ABS.
