hotend replacement

I was curious if anyone has replaced the hotend on their printer yet? I have a clog I cannot clear, I spent a few days messing around with it and ordered a new hot end. Will it be difficult to replace? I am not getting any response from support on directions on how to replace it. This is my first 3d printer and I'll just say this machine has been an "experience". Looking back I would have started with a different one, as support for it is lacking. Any advice would be apprieciated. When I am not messing with it I have gotten decent prints and would like it running again.
