Filament clog up

Post by ktown1900 » Thu Apr 18, 2019 3:47 am

I have a Problem with my a20m.
Sorry for my Bad English.

When I print a big stl (>10h) with only one colour there is often the Problem that my second colour clog up.
I cant use it again and have to clean the extruder first.

Is there any Chance to avoid this?

Thank you

I think you should clean the hotend and replace the PTFE tube.
Then it should work normally.(But you need to confirm your slice setting is correct)
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

Print speed no more than 80mm/s for the A20M.
Temp setting(PLA):
1.Nozzle:180~210C,You need to set the all the nozzle temp to the same temp
2.Heat bed: 50~70C
Then you need to set the retarct to :
1.Retract distance:6.5mm
2.Retract speed:40mm/s

Then you need to check the extruder temp.
If it overheat then it will cause the filament soft then clogged.
