3Dtouch/Bltouch auto level guide for A20M
Hello
I just receive my sensor from your deutchland storage
My printer is A20M
Where can i find informations for the sensor installation,
Modify firmware and calibrate... ?
Please do not forget all 3D printers users are not specialist in firmware or Arduino
They need a manual for setting up the 3d/bl touch sensor
Best regards
François

Hello.
Olivier

Re: 3Dtouch/Bltouch auto level guide for A20M
So I purchased my printer about two months ago... Geeetech A20M... and bought 3D Touch sensor with it. I installed the sensor about a week ago and flashed the latest Geeetech firmware for the A20M with 3D Touch, and initially, after setting up, it worked great for about 3 or 4 days. At that point it started doing this thing after a successful print where, when I start the next print, it would start the autolevel process and at about the 2nd point, it would lower once and on the second slow lower, the Z stepper would start grinding as if the Z End Stop and the sensor were fighting for control.... almost as if the Z Endstop were not being triggered when homing.... now the 3D Touch sensor just flashes off and on. If I power the printer off and back on, or reset the printer using the reset button, the sensor will go through the self test and the light will come on solid for a short time... maybe 30 or 45 seconds and then it starts flashing agian. Is this a problem with the 3D touch sensor or with the firmware or just what could be the issue?
I followed the guides for installing the 3D Touch version of the firmware as well as the guide for installing the 3D Touch sensor itself so I am sure that is not the issue.

Re: 3Dtouch/Bltouch auto level guide for A20M
So I really don't see how the post you referenced relates to my problem as my 3D Touch sensor errors within 30 seconds of completing the self test at startup and the other symptoms I described do not appear to be listed in that post anywhere. What I think is that I got a faulty 3D touch sensor and that after 1 week of use.... mild use as I only did 3 or 4 prints in that time, it failed. Is there some other insight you can offer or should I just go buy a genuine BL Touch sensor and save myself a lot of headache?
