A20M second exturder input messed up on 2 hotends in a row

Post by wirelessdreamer » Mon Apr 27, 2020 5:24 am

for single material printing my A20M is my go it printer, stellarprint quality, but trying to do dual color prints just doesn't work. I'm using SImplify 3d over usb to control the printer.

Test 1:
Bring the hot end up to 225c for abs printing, I can manually turn the extruder gear and abs comes out. if I swap my bowden tubes to send the other matieral though the same input into the hotend, I get the same expected result.

Neither material will work on the second tube. I just bought a replacement hotend and installed it thinking there was a clog in the 2nd input, but I get the same result as soon as I installed it.

Test 2:
simplify 3d has a dual material print wizard, I only get any thing from the primary color, this was expected beacause test 1 failed.

Any ideas whats wrong here?

Thanks.
