Filament don't want to extrude

Post by Krzys » Sat Feb 08, 2020 7:28 pm

I bought a new printer 2 months ago, it was working fine but lately it don't want to pull filament. Motor is spinning but filament won't extrude. I tried to tighten the screws on the motors but it worked temporarily. I replaced the nozzle but it had no effect.

Hi,If the extruder motor is running normally, and you can talk about the manual extrusion of the consumables at a nozzle temperature of 200, you can check the spring tension of the feeder.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

Maybe you have broken your extruders if you overtighten the spring, it happened to me (so I have replace extruder by full metal one...), if it is the case you may find this thing interresting : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3456879 (this is the exact part that was broken on my extruders)

In my printer this part is fine. In my opinion problem lies somewhere else. It looks motor don't have enough power to force filament through a nozzle.
The rack slides on the filament instead of pushing it.
